ProLine™ Discs Description:

ProLine™ Discs Details:
This is our premium line of discs. Some players refer to this type of disc as indestructible plastic discs. This line of discs is recommended for players who have been playing for one year or more. This is the type of disc that almost every professional player uses. Models in this line include: Tsunami™, Rogue™, Riptide™, Shockwave™, Squall™, and Titanic™. The Reef ™is also considered a ProLine disc even though it is made of the RDGA style plastic It is classified as a ProLine disc because it is available in standard disc weights (164-74).

Signature™ Line Discs

Signature™ Line Discs Description:
The Signature line discs were created by “Steady” Ed Headrick using materials based on the research he did at Wham-O for the Superball rubbers. The unique plastics are highly durable. They bounce off hard objects and grab the chains while absorbing any chain shock. These discs have become player favorites due to their cool grip and looks. Although these discs can be found in the hands of Disc Golf Pros, their rubbery consistency make them ideal for playground play with beginning players. The soft rubbery plastics will prevent injuries that kids can get from a harder plastic golf disc. Ed created the molds with what he called his special "Ergomatic quick release grip" and "Power Brakes". The discs feel great in your hands and stop when they hit the ground or the chain. "Steady" Ed was known not only for his driving skills but his incredible putting abilities. Guess what discs he used to score those putt and short approaches. These are special discs to add to your bag. If you haven't tried them yet you won’t be disappointed.

Signature™ Line Discs Details:
This line of disc got its name from our company’s founder “Steady” Ed Headrick. All of the discs in the signature line are made of high tech rubber material to avoid rollaways to catch the chains better. All of these rubber discs have Ed’s signature replicated on the front of the discs. These discs were ground breaking when Ed developed and released them in the mid 80’s and they remain one of disc golf’s true innovations and one of our best sellers decades after they were released. We have four signature line models; Blowfly 1, Blowfly 2, Blunt Gumbputt, and Powerdrive Gumbputt. If you putt with a fan grip we recommend the Blowfly 2 or the Powerdrive Gumbputt, if you putt with a lead finger on the edge of the disc a Blowfly1 or Blunt Gumbputt would work best for you. People who throw the blowfly swear by them and claim that this disc saves them a throw or two per round.

RDGA® Line Discs

RDGA™ Line Discs Description:
RDGA® discs max out at 150 grams. These discs are lighter and easier to control and help to improve your throwing skills. If your just starting out, RDGA® discs are the place to start! Our specially formulated DGA® plastics differentiate our discs from others on the market not only because of their great flying characteristics and grip but also because of their flatter profile. DGA® plastics are specially designed to shrink when removed from the disc mold. This process of shrinkage creates a flatter profile and flatter flying disc.

RDGA™ Line Discs Details:
Some people refer to this type of disc as beginner discs but they work well for anybody looking for more control and more fairway-friendly shots. We call them the RDGA line because it is the preferred type of plastic and disc molds for the Recreational Disc Golf Association. We strongly recommend these discs for players of all age, who are just picking up the sport. New players will have much better results if they start with this type of disc and move into the professional models after a season or two. These are our best selling discs among schools, churches, and campgrounds.

Mini Marker Discs

Mini Marker Discs Description:
Every disc golf tournament player needs a mini marker disc. DGA is excited to be able to offer you the best flying mini marker disc on the market. Through our close relationship with Discraft we have produced a limited number of the Mini Ultrastar disc that have been imprinted with a custom DGA logo. These discs come in a variety of colors and work well as a disc marker or a mini golf disc for use on the DGA mini pole hole basket.

Mini Marker Discs Details:
The mini marker disc is just like a ball marker in “ball golf”. As part of the official PDGA rules, players must mark their disc lie on every throw with a mini disc marker. These discs are just mini versions of normal golf discs, with a diameter of around 4”. You place the mini marker in front of where your disc throw has landed and then you are able to take your next legal shot from anywhere behind the mini marker disc. Most new players don’t use one but every serious tournament golfer has multiples in his or her bag. Mini markers are also used for mini disc golf baskets, which are a miniature version of our normal disc golf pole hole.  Our mini markers are Discraft Mini Ultrastars which almost everyone considers to be the best flying mini disc on the market.

“Steady” Ed Ash Discs

“Steady” Ed Ash Discs Description:
"The Lines of Headrick" Memorial disc commemorates the life of the founder of disc sports and father of disc golf, "Steady" Ed Headrick. It was Ed's wish that his ashes be incorporated into discs so that he could fly. “Steady” Ed loved the Disc Golf and Frisbee® community. Ed wished for the community to have his discs and for them to have fun and play with them after he passed on. "Steady" Ed Memorial Disc Golf set comes in a set of two discs, one Putter and one Driver. The art work was created by Ed's good friend Sharon Kinzie and chosen by “Steady” Ed to be the art work for the discs to carry his ashes. The Ultimate Freestyle disc is made from the classic Discraft Ultrastar 175g mold. . All proceeds go towards the not for profit "Steady" Ed Memorial Museum located at the new International Disc Golf Center.

“Steady” Ed Ash Discs Details:
These discs are the rarest and most collectible in the entire world. Our company and sports founder “Steady” Ed Headrick passed away in 2002, but his dying wish was to have his body cremated and his ashes molded into golf discs. There are two different types of ash discs, the disc golf set and the ultimate freestyle lid.  This disc golf set includes one XL driver and one APX putter both molded with “Steady” Ed's ashes and printed with a full color design that depicts Steady Ed in two different disc golf scenes. The Ultimate Freestyle disc is an Ultrastar mold from Discraft that has a profile picture of Ed and commemorative writings around the disc. All of the proceeds from the Steady Ed Ash discs go directly to the Steady Ed museum located at the International Disc Golf Center in Georgia. Our retail stores are allowed to carry these but they do not have a large wholesale to retail markup because they are fundraiser discs.

“Steady” Ed Memorial Mini Discs Description:
These mini markers do not include Ed’s ashes but they are a limited run of mini disc that illustrate and carry on one of Ed’s favorite quotes; “Remember, when a Frisbyterian dies his soul lands on the roof on its way to heaven”. The Headrick family offers these mini discs as a more budget-friendly option to the ash discs as a way to carry on his memory. These limited edition mini magnets (the type of disc mold) are going quickly. This is one of your last chances to connect to “Steady Ed”, the man who started it all.

“Steady” Ed Memorial Mini Discs Details:
These are mini maker discs that do not include Ed’s ashes but are a limited run that has turned into one of our best selling Christmas items. There were about 2000 of these collectable discs produced and we are now down to our last couple hundred before they run out and are never produced again. DGA Permanent Baskets Details:
DGA has been the leading manufacture of Permanent Disc Golf Pole Hole’s™ for over thirty years. More courses nationwide are built using DGA baskets than all our competition combined. Our commitment to quality and strong customer service has helped us remain the leader in permanent baskets since our company’s founder Steady Ed formalized the sport and started selling Pole Holes™ back in 1975.

We have three different basket models The Mach New 2, Mach 5 and the Mach 3. All of our models have three different installation options: No Frills, Deluxe, or a portable wheel base. We consider the Mach New 2 our budget option, for schools or park departments that have a tight budget but still want a permanent DGA quality course. The main difference between the Mach New 2 and the other basket models is the number of hanging chains. The Mach New 2 basket has 18 hanging chains and the Mach 5 and Mach 3 have 24 hanging chains. The main difference between the Mach 5 and the Mach 3 is the way the 24 strands of chain hang down in different configurations. The Mach 3 also comes standard with a number plate. The Mach 3 basket is considered the best disc golf basket on the market; most national and world championship events are played on Mach 3 baskets.

The no frills version cements the basket directly into the ground using a longer pole. (The only way to get that basket out of the ground is to dig it up with a backhoe.) The deluxe version comes with a shorter pole and an anchor and collar system. You would cement the anchor into the ground and then slide the shorter pole in place and then lock it in there with a locking collar and a master lock. The master locks do not come with any of our basket models; those must be purchased separately. The portable version comes with a wheel base so you can store the baskets in a warehouse and wheel them out for special events or temporary courses.

We also offer special colored versions of our Mach family baskets that are known as hammertone or “candy” baskets. These are normal hot dipped galvanized baskets that are coated with a second powder coating to give the baskets a unique eye catching quality. We offer these colored baskets in either a blue or orange option. At this time we only offer Mach New 2’s and Mach 5’s in this powder coated option.

This basket weighs only 25 pounds and snaps together, no bolts necessary. It's easy to put together and easy to take apart. The product fills a void for inexpensive practice Disc Pole Holes, allowing the novice, advanced, and pro players the ability to practice and play Disc Golf wherever they want. The M-14™ is protected by silver zinc plating and is guaranteed for 1 year against rust and corrosion. The M-14™ comes in a special box protected by an outer cardboard shipper. DGA M-14™ Portable Baskets Details:
This backyard practice basket has been on the market for about 8 years and sales continue to be strong as players look for a portable basket with easy setup. This portable basket sells well not only because it’s a great price but it has that all metal look that some players associate with the permanent baskets found on their local home courses. The M-14 is not hot dipped galvanized although it has a zinc powder coating that is guaranteed for 1 year against rust and corrosion. These are available to drop ship and Christmas and mid summer are our highest volume seasons for our portable basket options.

DGA New Style T-Shirts

DGA New Style T-Shirts Description:
These are the garments that put DGA apparel on the map and sent a message to the rest of the disc golf industry that DGA was serious about taking Disc Golf apparel to the next level. We worked with a professional graphic artist to come up with three different unique designs that captured the essence of Disc Golf. We have three different T-shirt designs (Dirt, Tag, and Organic). Each design comes in two different colors and every color has a full size selection of S-XXL. These 6.1 ounce 100% preshrunk cotton T-shirts are very high quality and sell extremely well. Strong sales all through the summer and a huge sales spike around Christmas. The Dirt design has been our best seller.

New Style T-Shirt Details:

• Dirt
  This design is called dirt because it looks like a DGA basket logo was etched on the shirt with soil or dirt. This off center print has a raw, primitive feel to it that taps into your fundamental human instinct to throw objects at targets! This design is available in Pine Green and Chocolate Brown.
• Scratch
  This design has a more urban feel to it. Very popular with the younger disc golf demographic, this DGA Scratch design is inspired by all of the unique forms of urban disc golf areas in the US. The design features a DGA basket logo on the front with a organic flow background silkscreened off center and overflowing onto the sleeve. This design is available in Black and Earth.
• Organic
  Disc Golf is nature seamlessly blended with sport. This design illustrates that “organic” connection between our environment and the sport we love. This shirt is a modified version of our DGA basket logo incorporated into some organic style undergrowth on the back of the shirt and a simple stylish DGA with a small italicized Disc Golf Association below it. This version is available in Dark Heather Gray and Navy.

DGA Boy Beaters Description:
Don’t think we forgot about the ladies. DGA has seen the increase in serious woman disc golfers on both a national and local level and we are proud to show our support by releasing our first women’s specific apparel item. We worked with a team of female disc golfers and contemporary graphic artist to come up with a design that captures the spirit of women disc golfers. It appeals to independent, creative females everywhere.
