Team DGA is made up of a tight group of individuals who are not only skillful players, but who exhibit traits that are expected of professional players in any sport. Our team members are ambassadors to the sport, they are teachers to our youth, and feel a responsibility to help the sport of disc golf grow. When it comes to sponsoring players, DGA is the new kid on the block. We see this as a cool opportunity to turn heads, grow the sport and play disc golf.

“Steady” Ed Tournament Series

2007 was the first year of the “Steady” Ed Tournament Series and over 800 competitors experienced these events and were part of the series inaugural year. DGA is building this series into one of the most enjoyable, well run tournament series. It embodies the great vision that “Steady” Ed had for the future of disc golf. “Steady” Ed Tournament Series tournaments offer a fun and inviting atmosphere that “Steady” Ed would have enjoyed playing in and would have been proud to attach his name to.

“Steady” Ed Memorial Masters Cup Tournament

The top Am and Pro disc golf players from around the world converge on Santa Cruz's De Laveaga disc golf course for both the amateur and the professional weekends. The De Laveaga course is considered by many in the sport to be one of the best disc golf courses in the world and is the home course to local World Champion and Capitola resident Nate Doss. Each year at the event the “Steady” Ed Memorial Trophy is presented to the player who best exemplifies “Steady” Ed’s code of conduct for the sport of disc golf. The Trophy spends the year on display at the International Disc Golf Center.

DGA ProLine Tournament Sponsorship Packages

DGA has developed three levels of our ProLine sponsorship packages. All three tournament support packages are based on providing your event with the very best custom stamped discs available, allowing you to maximize sales, thereby increasing funds for your tournament. DGA will carefully match your custom stamp color with the color of the disc mold name already pre-stamped on the disc. DGA is the only disc golf company providing this color matching technique. Our tournament partners in the past have told us that their DGA custom discs were by far the best looking discs at their event. To be eligible for these sponsorship packages your disc's stamp design must include your tournament's name and date.

Limited Edition DGA Sparkle Tsunami and Sparkle Squalls

Looking for a way to make even more money for your event? This year DGA will be making two of our Limited Edition Sparkle disc molds available to interested tournament directors. The DGA Sparkle Tsunami and Sparkle Squall are available for normal custom printing as well as custom super color designs.
